Having established a thriving Primary school since 2022, we are now embarking on an exciting new chapter with the opening of our Senior School in August 2025. The Senior School will open with Years 7 -9 (ages 11-14) on a purpose-built campus, designed to provide state-of-the-art facilities for senior education. This new campus represents our commitment to expanding educational excellence in Vietnam, with plans for gradual growth through to the IB Diploma Programme in subsequent years.

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Science teacher to establish and shape a new MYP Mathematics programme. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building strong foundations for mathematical learning in our growing secondary school.

Professional qualifications:

• Teaching qualification

• Bachelor's degree in related field

• IB MYP Category 1 training

Professional experience:

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Mathematics at MYP level

• Exhibit knowledge, enthusiasm and/or experience to teach inquiry and concept-based learning across Mathematics

• Experience in curriculum development and design 

• Proven track record of student achievement

Duties & responsibilities:

The core responsibilities will include:

Teaching & Learning:

• Teach MYP Mathematics across grades 7-9

• Create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences 

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs 

• Assess and report on student progress using MYP criteria 

• Integrate technology effectively in Mathematics instruction

Programme Development:

• Establish and document the MYP Mathematics curriculum for Years 7-9

• Develop course outlines, unit plans, and resources

• Create assessment tasks and rubrics aligned with MYP criteria

• Work with other subject teachers to develop interdisciplinary opportunities

• Manage Science resources and budget

Additional Responsibilities:

• Offer at least one extra-curricular activity

• Contribute to the school's pastoral care programme by acting as a form tutor

• Participate in whole-school events and duties

• Maintain effective communication with parents

• Engage in continuous professional development

Safeguarding:

• Understand and implement the school's safeguarding policies

• Complete required safeguarding training

• Report any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead
